Apple continues to impress. I have to admit that I'll probably never try the Droid, because I'm so Apple-skewed. But with the easy connectivity and synching with our iMac, iPods, and iPhones, there's no reason for us to get anything else. I'd like to see more battery life; it's the only real drawback to the iPhone, in my opinion. Other than that, I don't really see anything that the Droid does that the iPhone can't be made to do in later iterations, IF it was necessary.

The droid is awesome ive had the chance to play with it already its fast, got a beautiful 3.7 touch and android 2.0 is awesome i own an Iphone 3gs and its good also but the Droid is the first phone that Ive seen that can give the iphone a run for its money. Android is the new era and its gonna take everything over soon....Not to mention Androids marketplace in general has about 80% free apps since they dont charge for an SDK and apple charges alot of money for theres leaving the app store through apple alot more expensive and in the future thats whats going to win over customers...

verizon by far has the best coverage of any service. Sprint sucks. AT&T really sucks. Verizon simply pwns all other phones. They're just as bad as any others when it comes to trying to nickle and dime you, but their coverage is still the best. Droid iPhone

I like see a big and excellent brand meeting a brilliant competitor. The price may decrease and benefit us all.

Most people who don't like the iPhone cannot afford one. The iPhone is a full-fledged computer with thousands of useful apps and famed Apple Support. It requires less upgrading because it employs features others will never get right when they copy. It creates the standard by which all others will try to emulate. There has not been a single serious contender to this product and it is doubtful there will ever be more than wannabees. It is a well known fact that Apple supplies the best hardware in the world with the best software and functionality. Just give in and buy it you will not be dissappointed . Megapixels you say? Most of the phone advertising 5+ megapixels still offer an inferior picture. Idf you know about photography, MP mean nothing when its done poorly. Oh I forgot to mention, the iPhone works with the Best Shipping OS (including WINDOWS Yawn! 7) There is no competition now, so just bite the bullet and buy one, it truly is the best!

The Droid is going to be released this friday, November 6, but the iphone 4g or whatever apple wants to call it is scheduled to be released in June 2010. The Droid is the supposed iPhone killer and I think it probably is too, but when the next iphone comes out in a little over half a year, the Droid will just be another stupid, slow smart phone. I want to switch to Verizon from T-mobile, so I want to switch ASAP. So if any news of a Verizon iPhone is released, PLEASE SHARE, THANKS!

Motorola is always the best...... ( obviously i am a MotoFan) and the droid sound really interesting, and the iPhone in other hand, sometimes is a mess. And in hong kong, those chinese iphones are sometimes better than the real ones, so rock on, Motorola

While the Droid does look incredibly cool and seems to have some very snazzy features, I still would probably prefer the iPhone. Its not because I'm apple biased, but rather because I've spent the best part of three years costuming my iTunes account (with apps, songs, movies, pod-casts, etc) and I would much prefer not to switch and go through the back-stabbing process of potentially moving all my data or creating new data all for a new phone.
Still, pretty sweet on both ends.

Is it really? I never heard of that! Are you looking for wealthy men? I know a hot and interesting place named Billionairepal.com where I have met my boyfriend. You may take a look.

both of those phones are nothing more than toys when compared to the phones they use in Japan (I know I saw them). There cellphones have 12MP cameras, can be used anywhere (including subways), people are able to watch live TV, open and start their cars with cellphones, can use a cellphone as a credit card (irony is most japanese use cash for purchases under like 90000Y ($100), have more downloadable applications than the iPhone can ever hope to have, and can be used as a modem for laptops (remember this is ANY cellphone there we're talking about).

No matter what new stupid gadgets come out in america, they will still only be second rate compared to those in other countries (sigh).

But either way I'm excited to see the droid, with verizons 3G (soon to be LTE) network this phone should provide amazing coverage and internet access. If I can use this phone as a modem (something iPhone doesn't do BTW) for my laptop for $30 a month I'm sold.

They failed to mention that the Droid has an actual keypad in the messaging section... Huge plus IMO.

Still, being a designer and seeing how my photographer friends utilize their iPhone as a prospecting tool, I may opt for Apple and let Android grow another year and prove itself.
