Literally dozens of different machines around my workplace have been "downgraded" to XP and dozens of others were purchased w the XP downgrade option. None of us have had trouble with drivers. Perhaps there is newer hardware where an issue exists, but haven't seen it. Why such negative advice? The help desk here is saying in a year they will be ready to certify W7, that it is indeed a great step forward, but stay w XP for now. Well, or w Snow Leopard . . .
