We have record unemployment. We have record legal immigration.
We have citizens who are laid off and H1-B visas given for the same jobs.
And today he refused to tell the Hispanic causcus that he stands by his statements about refusing illegal immigrants access to our expensive healthcare plan. Pelosi refused to put verification requirements into the health bill so illegals will get it all.
Next step amnesty for them so they'll get that and welfare, food stamps, housing, disability, etc too - like they aren't getting those things now- lol.

Obama never "warned" us that 10% unemployment was coming. He always talks about how the economy is turning around thanks to his stimulus package.
Obama said when he first became president that unemployment wouldnt top 10% if he could get the stimulus package passed.

Likewise, the bush43 cuts benefited the wealthy, though not the middle class. America went from a balanced budget under Clinton to instant budget deficits. And these bush43 tax cuts did NOT result in increased wealth: The housing bubble was inflated by borrowed money. The subsequent housing crash would have resulted in a Depression because of the frozen credit markets. Only government intervention prevented the complete panic. Of course, there is Phil Gramm, who believes this whole recession is only in our heads!

Unemployment was supposed to cap at 8.5% if the bank bail out was approved. Unemployment is now at 10.2% nationally and over 12% in California where an estimated 2.2 million people are unemployed.
With healthcare insurance reform and cap and trade taxes significantly increasing small business costs...small business owners will not have enough money to pay salaries to hire new people. They'll be paying Obama for his new social programs.

The real issue is jobs that have left this country and are still doing so at a record pace. The recovery will never take effect because if you don't work to produce you have no money to spend!. What good is an additional tax break for purchasing a house when I do not have a job in the first place !!!! And yet, you would complain about the deficits that originated with the bush43 tax cuts, which only benefited the wealthy. Most economic indicators are now starting to show we will experience something worse than the Great Depression of the 1930's... hang on folks. We are already seeing people cracking under pressure, all the shootings taking place toward former employers that laid them off.
