Yep in 6 months there will be a new song out called " Here Comes Repo Man, Here Comes Repo Man" Cash for Clunkers was a stupid program.
8 Months ago, Ford argued to provide government aid to the other US auto makers because they were concerned that their suppliers would go bankrupt.
So this isn't something they can blame the government for.
this stimulus check thing should of been givin to the people 20,000.00 to each american. now that would of stimulated the economy!
Now that Ford proves it can operate in the black the UAW wants more money. Socialism lovers.
Unions allow lazy employees to get undeserved raises and benefits and wonder why so many manufacturing jobs are going overseas.
Grrr:
This is an easy one.
Ford is an example of Capitalism at work.
GM and Chrysler are examples of Socialism/Marxism at work.
Industry pays the debt, socialism increase it.
I have said this before--Unions must go--they have outlived their usefulness and have destroyed the auto industry. Unfortunately, this will not happen as long as the socialist pig Ovomit is president.
yep with Obama-pelosi- reid you punish the people that had good forsight and excercised thrift and you hand it over to the lazy and sloppy do-nothingers. The American taxpayer is being hosed the same way
I like the way Rick Newman casuually dismisses the loss of 300,000 jobs. What he doesn't mention is the ripple effect which would cause the loss of thousands of more jobs if Chrysler stop building vehecles. Take for example the computer chip industry. More computer chips are made for automobiles than lap tops and PCs combined. Think about the fact the average automobile, suv, minivan, or truck has over thirty computerized modules per vehicle. What do you think your next laptop, PC, X Box would cost if if your local chip maker lost revenue from the auto industry. This is just one example Mr. Newman overlooked.
