I guess of a sudden AARP is being lead with people that have dementia. I am certainly glad that I did not renew my subscription with them now. It is not just that, what do you get for your money -- nothing!

American association of retired PINHEADS.

What kind of bribe did a select few get from the Obama administration?

Do I feel a new board of directors coming on?

AARP does not get it. They will continue to lose membership by backing this monstrosity of a bill. Seniors will not take kindly to those who are taking AARP down the road to ruin. They are looking to bolster their move into providing healthcare coverage for seniors, but they will be seen for what they are. Opportunists who care little for their members.

The AARP was backing the healthcare bill before it was even written.

I will never be a part of the AARP again for supporting this unrealistic and ridiculous health care hype. I will tell all my friends to discontinue membership.

Oh, this will help gain blue hairs! lol!
Seems, they are bailing out everyone that helps their agenda. Even the newspapers are in line for a bail out!

I respect AARP but hope they read the whole bill, because it is so typical of legislators to "tack on" unrelated bills (basically sneaking things into bills because they can't stand on their own). It's been done for years and accounts for a lot of "pork" taxpayers pay for blindly. Sure hope this time is different.

I guess losing 60,000 members the last time wasn't a strong enough hint.

AARP is basically an insurance company that sells supplemental insurance to people on Medicare. As big government insurance takes over they see their market growing as more and more people are forced onto the government program. They are in it for the money.

aarp is trusted by seniors
they have a history of doing their homework & making good decisions
aarp lives & dies on its credibility
you just cant seem to understand that there are more ways to see things besides the

MYOPIC RADICAL RIGHT WING LUNATIC FRINGE
YOU ARE A MINORITY THAT IS COMMITING SUICIDE BY THINKING YOU ARE ALWAys right
better stop using emotion & start using logic

emotion = they are out to get me - i am always right because i am patriotic & love god

logic = well maybe aarp has a point let me check it out
then say what you want
the con movement is running on emotion - not logic
its like being really high
everything is great till the next morning

The AARP will be impacted as we people of common sense will tell everyone we know how much damage AARP does to freedom and that no one should join the AARP who is a true American. If you were duped to join AARP you should cancel your membership.

This is exactly why members send a message by dumping AARP now! AARP should be ashamed of themselves supporting a government run public option health care reform bill that would make deep cuts to Medicare & Medicaid, programs designed for seniors, the disabled, & Medicaid for the poor. ObamaCare would also greatly increase taxes while lowering the quality of healthcare & the government would be calling the shots about the type of healthcare you get along with waiting times while also there would be a loop hole for illegal aliens to get more things for free at the expense of the taxpayers.

Don't blame Obama, he was and is used by the communists in America. Let's all learn a value lesson from the slave in the White house, The commies are and have been attempting to over throw the USA and our constitution. They have used the Black folks since the Civil rights acts of the 60's. They have created this intercity where the poor black feast on each other and every election the dems promise freedom from bondage. The likes of Al sharpton and Jesse Jackson have been the slave masters for the commies and now a lot of our kids that were taught in the public school. TIME FOR A REAL CHANGE. IT'S COMING.....DTOM

Thank you AARP.

Thank you for understanding that we must take steps to fix our broken heath care system, that is eating 17% of our GDP and rising.

ANYONE who doesn't understand that we cannot sustain that is clueless.

Obama could end world hunger, create world peace, and give each family one million dollars to put their children through college, and the Yahoo Buzz bots would cry about it.

Their basic political existence is to oppose anything our president does, because he has a (D) next to his name, and has more pigment in his skin than they do.

From the before Obama was even elected, they were crying, "MUSLIM!" "TERRORIST!" "SOCIALIST!" "BIRTH CERTIFICATE"
ect, ect, ect...

Their dissent lost all credibility a long time ago.

They are chicken little. Nothing more. Nothing less.

A sad product of only watching Fox "News", and listening opinions on AM radio they take as facts.
