If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are "just friends," per the Vanity Fair interview, then why are they spending the night together at the infamous Chateau Marmont the night before a screening of New Moon? Sure, sleepovers with best buddies can be fun, but usually they don't require a king size bed, room service and a "do not disturb" sign hanging off the door.
