• A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.

FDR did not save us from the great depression. by 1938 his policies had made it worse as 5 years in a new low was hit. The war pulled us out. his policies were like buried land mines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Social Security, helping to birth Unions in the Auto industry) all have come back to haunt us.
Obama is following the same play book and if FDR doesn't bury us, Obama will.

How about while he hasn't accomplished much, he has accomplished much. I don't agree that a President is omnipotent, or the sole power and should ever be as the Media continues to Portray. That is why we have a balance of Powers ie. BRANCHES in the US Federal Gov't. They are: Judicial, Legislative and Executive, neither ONE is better(more powerful) than the other. His term is LESS than a Year in. With 3yrs left. IT's going to be a LONG LONG term if this continues.
